We are having a church-wide volunteer gathering (for weekend volunteers and Net group leaders) for the purpose of: Helping bond the working members of our churchCreating a forum for us to celebrate what God is doing at The NetProviding an added worship opportunity for volunteers who miss service due to serving on Sundays. Hello...my name is Bryan Keene. Cory Arp told me that you and your wife, Rebeccah, are interested in Production Set up on Sundays. That's great. Please join the production Tech Group. That way you can get group e-mails and such.
Is there anything specific that you and your wife are interested in helping out in? We have several positions (stage set up, communion set up, camera, audio, Tech. Director, Lights).
To get a feel for what we do and how we do it, feel free to come early one Sunday. I get there at 7:00 am, and the band is usually up and playing by 8:15. If it is something that you like doing, we can get you in on the rotation.

- Patience is hard. Trustings God's plan can be too. When we moved here, we knew we were supposed to be here but had no jobs, no house, and no friends or family. We just followed and trusted. It took a little while and we are still working out the details. We both finally got to work, moved into a rental house, and are busy making friends. Some days over the 4 months of nothingness it was hard. I tried not to question. I kept asking if this was still the plan and I kept hearing...you heard what I told you. Just wait. So we did. Jer 29:11 kept me going!

- Well the Net doesnt have any paid positions, but man we are looking for student volunteers! We are going to see the movie To Save a Life tomorrow night. See the events page! We are seeing the 7pm showing in Hixson and would love it if you could make it.
The next step for Net Students is expanding small groups. We something over on your side....Im just sayin'. Im busy planning this summers trip to Creation Fest. Check it out. www.creationfest.com/ne. Its AWESOME!

Well you sure did pick a great first service to come to. It was one of my favorites! So how did you hear about the Net? There are quite a few people from Cleveland that come. My husband and I actually moved here to help start up the student program. We got here over the summer. Its been crazy!
