RESOURCES
Teaching Materials Center, Summerour Hall, Southern Adventist University
http://tmc.southern.e...
The TMC provides students, faculty, and community members with one of the most comprehensive collections of teaching resources in Southeast Tennessee.
The TMC houses more than 15,000 curriculum guides, textbooks, teacher's resources, literature for children and young adults, VHS and DVD videos, CDs, educational games and activities, as well as many artifacts from around the world. Journals and magazines about teaching are available for reference.
Patrons can borrow posters and pictures from the TMC's bulletin board files or cut shapes and letters with dies from a large collection of die cuts. The TMC's work center makes preparing bulletin boards and other teaching materials easy. Going north on Interstate 75, take the Ooltewah exit (#11) and turn right on Lee Highway. At the first stop light (by Burger King), turn right onto Little Debbie Parkway. When it dead ends, turn left onto Apison Pike. Continue on Apison Pike going straight at the traffic light and following the road around the bend. You are now on the campus of Southern Adventist University. Bear right at the pond. Follow the road past the university buildings to the elementary school on the left. Turn right at the caution light. Go right again on Industrial Drive past the Spanish church on the left. At the crest of the hill you will see a blinking caution light on a pole to your right. Turn left into the parking lot for Summerour Hall. Walk back across the street and take the up ramp into the building. The TMC is on the top floor, room 211.

Pin Strikes has $0.99 bowling and $3 shoe rentals on Mondays. They also have some $2 deals on Tuesdays (laser tag, bowling, shoes, hotdogs, bumper cars, and balladium whatever that is). We can't make this week, but I would love to get the kids together on one or more of these deal days! Anybody in? When?

UPDATE on our night out.

Due to weather and the fact that it seems to not be the best time for many of us, we will cancel our meeting tonight, but will reschedule very soon! Be on the lookout for a new date and time. I know that most of us are really in need of a night out. LOL! Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
