Rhonda Underwood's Mother

Please pray for Rhonda's mother, Phyllis Gable.  As many of you know Rhonda has been in Kansas helping direct her medical care after Phyllis underwent back surgery.  Phyllis awoke from surgery with extreme dementia (which did not exist before the operation).  The initial surgery occurred in early July and she has endured mutilpe repeat hospitalizations, rehab centers, severe infections and two additonal extensive back surgeries since then.

 

Today the doctors said they are unable to stop the spread of the infections and are not giving much hope for survival beyond 10 days or so.  Additionally, today Phyllis is thought to have had a stroke on top of everything else. 

 

Rhonda and our dear friend and Net Church member, Kathie Lawrence have been caring for Phyllis around the clock for the past month and they need strength.  Please help us in praying for Phyllis' comfort and peace.  She has endured so much suffering over these months.  Lift up Rhonda and pray that her own health stays whole and that God will grant her and Kathie as Sabboth Days' rest.

 

We will likely have some travel between Chattanooga and Kansas, so please continue you to pray for every detail of this situation.

We will keep Rhonda and her mother and Kathy in our prayers. Do you and Abby need some meals or anything,laundry done,cleaning. Please let me know. I will be putting Rhonda, Kathy and Phyllis on the group prayer list.
