Another Co Worker Prayer Request

We are praising God that my cancer number is down to 8, so the Doxil is curbing the cancer. The worst part of the Doxil is the toll it is taking on my skin – rashes, sores, blisters. I can only
wear ugg-type boots and slippers because I get sores on my feet easily. So if
you have been wondering why you never see me in any other type of shoes, you
now know why. My treatments are every 4 weeks, which is great because I have
one yuck week of fatigue and nausea and then three pretty good weeks.

 

I had to quit work in October and am pleased to have more time to spend with God and the precious people we are privileged to know. You are encouraging our hearts and helping us in so many
ways. We are overwhelmed by your love and support.

 

I have been reading the book of Isaiah. Today I was reading Isaiah 53 and was reminded what Christ did and continues to do for us. I underlined the parts that especially speak to my
heart right now. I want to be willing to suffer because of all that Christ
suffered for me, knowing that God uses suffering for good in our lives and
hopefully to encourage and bless those around us by the comfort we have
received.
